Sm-Co, SmCo Permanent Magnets, Rare Earth SmCo Magnets, Samarium Cobalt Magnet, Sintered and Bonded SmCo Magnets, Sm1Co5 , Sm2Co17 China Supplier and Factory

Samarium Cobalt Magnets (SmCo) came onto the market in 1970. They have several features that made them far superior to any magnet previously seen. They have a magnetic strength that is several times greater than either Alnico or Ferrite magnets, while at the same time they offer a very high temperature stability. Temperatures of 300 degrees Celcius are seen as no problem for Samarium Cobalt magnets and in addition to this they also demonstrate excellent corrosion resistance. Their corrosion resistance opened up numerous opportunities in marine environments and also in chemical industries.

Samarium cobalt magnets are powerful magnets which can withstand high temperatures (up to 250 °C). They are made of an alloy of rare earth, samarium and cobalt. Due to their extreme rigidity, these magnets require diamond tooling if machining is needed.

SMCO materials break the performance barriers of other magnetic components. Offering several operational advantages, our top-of-the-line SMCO is currently the strongest SmCo magnet on the market, and is specifically created for the most demanding environments, including high speed (100,000 RPM+), high temperature (above 150°C) and highly corrosive environments. As the market leader in high-performance SmCo, HANGSENG Magnetic Technologies continues to push the boundaries of performance and flexibility, while maintaining an integrated and sophisticated supply chain adaptable to any volume.

Better performance under extreme conditions — from motorsports to aerospace.
Key Benefits
Performance at temperature extremes – SmCo magnetic materials offer high stability and magnetic output at elevated temperatures.
Broad-based source of supply – Unlike neodymium (Nd) magnets, which need high levels of rare dysprosium (Dy) to function at moderate temperatures, SmCo magnets use materials that are more widely available and are inherently stable at temperatures well above the Curie point of NdFeB. This makes SmCo pricing more stable and less prone to market changes.
Breadth of applications – Use SMCO to achieve higher performance and efficiency in your automotive, motorsports, aerospace, defense, industrial, or utility application.
Custom properties – Since we are an integrated supplier, we can adjust the composition of your material for performance at extreme temperatures up to 550°C, or for much lower temperature coefficients for sensitive applications.

SMCO is most useful in the following applications:
Rotors
Electric Motors
Generators
Actuators
Drive Components
Couplings
Sensor Systems
Energy Recovery Systems
DFARS and ITAR compliant.
