Six-poles Sintered Ferrite Axial Magnetic Ring, 6-polars Sintered Hard Ferrite Magnet for Sensor, Customized Permanent Multi-pole Ferrite Motor Magnet, An-isotropic Ceramic Magnets
Six-poles Sintered Ferrite Axial Magnetic Ring Basic Info:
Ferrite, also known as Ceramic Magnets, are made of a composite of Iron oxide and barium carbonate (BaCO3) or strontium carbonate (SrCO3). Since th 1950’s, this material is commonly available and at a lower cost than other types of materials used in permanent magnets. Ceramic magnets are made by pressing and sintering. Sintered magnets are a type of ceramic composed of the compressed powder of the alloy material being used. Sintering involves the compaction of fine alloy powder in a dry and then fusing the powder into a solid material with heat. While the sintered magnets are solid, their physical properties are more similar to a ceramic and are easily broken and chipped.
Ferrite magnets are brittle and hard , which generally requires diamond wheels to grind and shape. These magnets come in a number of different grades.
Sintered ferrite (ceramic) magnets are also available in forms of isotropic and an-isotropic. The magnetic properties of isotropic ferrite are the same in all directions, therefore they can be magnetized in any pole arrangements.
An-isotropic ferrite magnets, on the other hand, can only be magnetized in the direction they are oriented during production, but they have much higher magnetic strength than isptropic ones.
Sintered ferrite magnets can be used in between -40 °C and +200 °C Being hard and brittle, they can be cut by using diamond tools.
The raw material of sintered ferrite magnets is oxide, thus they would not be rusted under severe environment nor affected by many chemicals (except some strong acids). Ring Ferrite Multipolar Injection Molded Magnet
