Sintered Ferrite Circular Magnets, Permanent Ferrite Circular Disc Magnets, Y30 Y30BH Y35 hard ferrite raw magnets, Industrial Magnets, disk ceramic ferrite magnet, round disk ferrite magnets
Sintered Ferrite Circular Magnets Speciation:
1, Material: Ferrite magnet is made of Sro or Bao and Fe2o3 by Ceramic processing technology
2, Shape: Disc, Disk, Circular
3, Grades: Y10T,Y20,Y25,Y30,Y30BH,Y35 (China standard); C1,C5,C8,C11 (U.S.A. Standard)
5.Application: Widely used in ammeter, speaker, audio, phone, TV, dynamo, DC permanent magnet motors (used in cars), etc.
Ferrite or neodymium magnets?
Compared to neodymium magnets, the adhesive force of ferrite magnets (ceramic permanent magnets) is much weaker. On the other hand, they are cheaper, suitable for outside use (rust-resistant) and can take heat up to 250 °C. If size and volume are less important than price, ferrite magnets can be a good alternative to neodymium magnets. In addition to the ferrite raw magnets mentioned here, we also carry pot magnets with ferrite. permanent disc ferrite magnets
Ferrite Grade 5 and 8 Disc Magnets Application:
DC brushless motors
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Magnetos used on lawnmowers and outboard motors
DC permanent magnet motors (used in cars)
Separators (separate ferrous material from non-ferrous)
Used in magnetic assemblies designed for lifting, holding, retrieving and separating
Available Grades of Ceramic Magnets:
MPCO offers Ceramic Magnets in a variety of grades, including Ceramic 1, Ceramic 5, Ceramic 8, and Ceramic 8B in strengths ranging from 1.05 – 3.8 MGOe.
Ceramic magnets are very resistant to corrosion. Coatings can be applied for cosmetic reasons or to reduce the fine, ferrite powder which is associated with ceramic magnets.
Ceramic Magnets are susceptible to demagnetization when exposed to temperature extremes. There are grades which have better resistance to high and low temperatures, but several factors will dictate the performance of a ferrite magnet.
Although most commercial magnets are anistropic, which means they have a preferred direction of magnetization, various pole configurations can be achieved without conflicting with a Ceramic Magnet’s orientation.
Compliance and Intellectual Property Considerations:
Ceramic magnets manufactured by MPCO are compliant with Intellectual Property Rights, Environmental Restrictions, and Conflict Mineral usage.
Handling and Storage of Ceramic Magnets:
Ceramic Magnets are very strong and brittle, requiring appropriate handling and packing to ensure safety and prevent damage.
