Ceramic ferrite magnets are a type of rare earth magnet, but they are not the strongest. They are stronger than our flexible magnets, but not as strong as neodymium rare earth magnets. The magnets on this listing are most suitable for everyday crafting purposes and not for industrial use. You can make fridge magnets with these and they are a stronger magnetic option to our flexible magnets, but they will not be strong enough to hold up metal objects such tools or drill bits.
We recommend researching carefully the differences between ceramic ferrite and neodymium magnets to see which is most suitable for your use. As well as this, different sizes and thicknesses will have different magnetic strengths.
