Neodymium magnet is a good woodworking hardware, but mounting is a big problem for user. Have you ever wondered how to embed strong magnet into the wood?
Glue is a good choice. According to different applications, you can use different adhesive, such as 3M, Loctite, and two-Part Epoxy, super glue, Gorilla Glue, JB Weld, Liquid Nails, Mod Podge and Silicone adhesives.

Tips:

Do not use a hot glue gun on neodymium magnets because neodymium magnet used in woodworking can only work under 60℃ or 80℃.

Make sure to clean the surface before applying the glue, so there are no greasy fingerprints or dust.

When using epoxy, rough up the surface of the magnet a little with some sandpaper first, because all epoxies and many other adhesives call for roughening of an especially smooth surface.

However, the most stable method is using a screw with countersunk or counterbore neodymium magnets to fix. If you need strongest magnet, you can use pot magnet with countersunk hole.
